I hate myself for being conceited sometimes and not listening to some people who know more than I do. I think it has to do with my compulsive nature, grabbing anything within my reach and make justifications after. The last time I overspent was for car accessories.

I used to think that my car is my second home so it has to be very cozy. I didn’t also listen to my parents when they told me to buy used cars instead of brand new. My reason is plain and simple, with high maintenance and gas consumption I would end up a loser in the end. That one I don’t regret and still thankful until now.

My car is also my comfort zone whenever I get stressed out of work. She’s my sole consolation of why I have to work hard and keep on working more. I can’t blame my sister for being a shopaholic or my brother for being hooked to computer games. Every one of us tends to find a security blanket, be it inside the home or outside. I also believe that security doesn’t just come to a person but it can be from something. No wonder why Japanese keep on inventing robots.
